We use the following frameworks:
- Hosting: AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, DocumentDB)
- Database: MongoDB with Mongoose
- Server: Express, Swagger, OpenAPI and Jest test framework
- WebApp: React, Clerk and Next.js
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Knowledge of databases.
- Skilled in JavaScript.
- Experience in building and using APIs.
- A collaborative mindset.
Nice to have expertise in:
- Front end development
- Familiarity with cloud platforms
- Building and Maintaining Client SDKs using SDK generators
- Typescript
- Python
- Software development practices: Git workflows, integration/unit testing, OOP etc.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Scalability of our database architecture and our backend infrastructure (APIs)
- Security measures to accommodate our growing user base and data volume.
- Optimising cost efficiency and performance of our cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS.
- Adding new features to the backend to allow integration with new customers, and to enable our image analysis software to continuously improve.
- Any project related to back- or frontend that catches your interest.
This job requires between 24-40 hours per week, with a lot of flexibility when and where you do your work. But we expect you to work in the office at least twice a week on average.
